      <image:caption>Dr. Przemyslaw Łastowiecki completed medical school in Warsaw, Poland where he finished his initial postgraduate education as a clinical teacher in Warsaw Medical School, Department of Diabetology. Following his immigration to the United States, Dr. Lastowiecki first trained at the Gundersen Clinic in La Crosse, Wisconsin. His Internal Medicine Residency included one year as the Chief Medical Resident. Dr. Peter completed his endocrinology fellowship at Northwestern University in Chicago. Dr. Peter began his work as an internist and endocrinologist at the Holy Cross Hospital in Chicago. He started his private practice in Northwest subarbs in 2001. Dr. Peter authored and coauthored several articles in the area of endocrinology. His special interests include type 2 diabetes, a variety of thyroid disorders and problems of the pituitary gland.</image:caption>

      <image:caption>Dr. Monika Lastowiecka graduated with honors from Medical School in Warsaw. She completed her internship and Internal Medicine residency program at Lutheran General Hospital in Park Ridge. She worked for Advocate Medical Group in Chicago for several years, before she opened her private practice in the Northwest suburbs. She is affiliated with the Alexian Brothers Medical Center and the St. Alexius Medical Center. After more than 20 years of practice she understands the importance of health maintenance and disease prevention as well as the complexity of diagnostic workup, treatment planning and coordination of care. She values long term patient-physician relationship that she believes is extremely important in achieving the best treatment outcomes. She believes that halping patients stay healthy as well as easing pain and suffering is the most gratifying experience of being a doctor.</image:caption>
